Learning Strategies Guided by Failures to Solve a Constraint Satisfaction Problems

We are concerned with a planning problem consisting in assigning resources to objects or tasks according to constraints. We currently study the application to the electronic domain (circuit layouts) ; other applications such as architecture (dealing with premises arrangement) or production domains (dealing with tasks scheduling) may be considered.
