Mixed-Initiative Case Replay

Mixed-initiative case replay introduces an active human intothe case-based planning process. The goals of this noveltechnique are to utilize the strengths of machine-based casereplay to improve human performance and to allow a humanto override a machine’s abstract representation of an actualdomain. The synthesis of these two approaches in a planningdomain enables flexible solutions to planning problems.This preliminary research introduces for the first time ahuman-centered technique into the well-developed planningmethod of derivational analogy.
