SmartRanker is a Java applet that allows the user to select top candidate rows from any data table according to preference represented in a relative manner. It also allows the user to compromise among conflicting preferences. For example, the user can select a computer that is both fast and cheap. The applet calculates scores for each candidate with a domain-independent and data-sensitive membership function.
