NARS is an intelligent reasoning system. In this system, an experience-grounded semantics is introduced. Accordingly, the meaning of a term and the truth value of a sentence are defined in terms of the inheritance relations among terms, experienced by the system. Such a semantics provides a theoretical foundation for the system’s learning capacity.
