Thank you for your interest in AAAI. Membership in AAAI is open to anyone with an interest in artificial intelligence research and development. The AI Magazine is published quarterly and is emailed in a searchable digital format to all current AAAI members. New memberships are accepted at any time, and commence at the time payment is received and the membership has been processed. Renewal dates fall on the date the membership is activated, and are not necessarily based on the calendar year. Cancellations are accepted at any time; however, memberships are nonrefundable.

Effective January 1, 2022, the AI Magazine will be available in online format only. No printed version will be available. Members who have provided a working email address will continue to receive the magazine via email in a searchable PDF format. This option will be available to librarians at the rates quoted above. Please note that AI Magazine will be available in open access via Wiley Publications.
Fees listed above include all shipping and handling charges to both domestic and international destinations. No agency discounts are given.
* Student applicants must send legible proof of full-time student status in a degree-bearing program, such as a letter from their faculty advisor or a copy of their registration.
** Retiree applicants must send legible proof of age.
AAAI Developing Countries Membership Offer
As part of AAAI's international outreach initiative, AAAI is pleased to offer a special rate for members in selected developing countries. All first-time and renewing members in the countries listed are eligible for the following deeply discounted rates:
- Regular $20.00 (US)
- Student $18.00 (US)
Developing Country members are entitled to all benefits afforded regular full-paying members. To take advantage of these rates, please go to the AAAI membership website and select the appropriate application form at the top of the page.
