AAAI-21 Student Technical Volunteer Program

AAAI is pleased to announce the AAAI-21 Student Technical Volunteer Program. The Associate Conference Chairs for Virtual Operations are seeking assistance with the development of the virtual platform for AAAI-21, and have issued a call for student technical volunteers to help with this effort. (Note: The regular AAAI Student Volunteer program will be announced separately.)

Volunteers recruited for this program will be working specifically on the virtual platform. Tasks will include, but will not be limited to, developing the AAAI-21 virtual website under the guidance of the AAAI-21 Associate Conference Chairs for Virtual Operations, as well as the AAAI-21 Program Chairs and AAAI staff, as needed. Proficiency with one or more of the following areas is required: CSS, JS, Python, Flask, Apache, and Github.

A small group of volunteers will be accepted and will be required to be available to perform work from November 1, 2020 (or upon acceptance) through the end of the virtual conference on February 9, 2021. As with all student volunteer programs, this is an essential component of the conference and student participation is a valuable contribution. A limited number of complimentary technical program registrations will be available for students who volunteer for this work. The deadline for volunteer applications is November 6, 2021.
