Abstract:
Over the past 15 years, the authors and their colleagues have developed and fielded a large number of human-computer collaborative applications that have embedded within them real-time, dynamic models of intentions for two or more active entities. This paper describes the services provided by real-time dynamic models of intentions, an overview of the technical approach taken in these models and a survey of a sample of the collaborative applications to indicate the range and complexity of the work undertaken to date.
