V&V support requires the collection, encoding, and management of domain knowledge, and the availability of a design support system able to use the encoded knowledge. In this position paper, we focus our attention on the encoding and management aspects of the knowledge. We present here our position concerning the representation, management, and use of domain knowledge in the context of engineering design V&V support.
