Abstract

During the fall of 1984, President Woodrow Bledwoe requested that the Conference Committee investiage the common complaint that the technical sessions at the National Conference had become too large for informal discussion, and too arcane to be relevant. This article describes the new conference format that was devised to address these complaints.
