Dear AAAI Members,

We invite you to participate in the Eighth AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment (AIIDE-12), to be held October 8-12, 2012 at Stanford University in Stanford, California. Note that the late registration deadline is this Friday, September 14.

AIIDE-12 has reserved a small block of rooms at local hotels in Palo Alto. Conference attendees must contact the hotels directly. Please identify yourself as a "AIIDE-12" attendee to qualify for the reduced rates. Space is very limited in Palo Alto in October, so attendees are encouraged to reserve early. Please see or for more information about the hotels.

AIIDE-12 will include invited talks by:

Technical paper presentations and a poster/demo session will be held October 10-12, preceded by the expanded workshop program on October 8-9. The workshop program will include the following four workshops:
