Abstract:
Nothing went "wrong," but new research questions came inevitably up. RobotS, in the plural and as physical artifacts to be present in our daily environments, offer a real challenge for AI: the effective integration of perception, cognition, and action in individual and multiple robots. In the talk, I will discuss concrete aspects of this "integrated intelligence," including world modeling and localization, and multi-robot coordination and learning in uncertain and dynamic environments.
