Spatial Reference Resolution for an Embodied Dialogue Agent

Timothy Weale

In this work, I propose a system for reference resolution that focuses on descriptions that utilize spatial information. This work is based on linguistic theory and is supported by corpus evidence. The resulting agent will be designed to function as a participant in a human-computer, two-bodied, box-rearranging task, which will be implemented in a virtual environment.
